Holiday and Travel Group Header

The purpose of this group is to facilitate and organise holidays and travel opportunities for our members. Important - here is the serious stuff !

The Group Leaders Handbook contains certain rules which must be adhered to.  In particular -

Personal Travel/Accident/Cancellation Insurance is obligatory for trips abroad, and advisable for UK Trips  and  must be arranged personally by individuals going on any of our trips/holidays. The Organisers are not responsible for your insurance nor for any losses incurred by you if you fail to take out insurance before paying your deposits.

Cancellations – no refunds will be given unless a replacement can be found. Refunds will be limited to the amount paid by the replacement and cancellation charges imposed by the tour/coach company may apply for which you will be liable.

As organisers we cannot accept cash payments or cheques made out to us.

Free places given by the tour /coach operators are shared amongst the participants or used to defray incidental expenses such as the drivers’ gratuity.

General meetings – are for members to socialise and share holiday ideas and experiences - 10.30 am at various venues (see events calendar for details) – normally every 3 months.
